The Challenge

Mainstream Egyptian album rollouts tend to lean loud, busy compositions, heavy effects, a different look for every single. The brief for El Amar was the opposite: give a major artist a calm, premium identity that still cuts through. It had to hold together across a wide spread of formats and placements while working in both Arabic and Latin script and staying recognizable across every one of the album's tracks.

The Approach

An artist like Ramy Sabry is well past the point of needing to prove anything, so the design leans into that. We focused on one thing: him. At this stage in an artist's career, minimalism reads as confidence, and that's the whole idea. The custom Arabic logotype is an elegant elongated custom calligraphy that further emphasizes the calm, mature look of the cover.
